UPDATE: Kits to Heart won second place!! The first place winner was amazing and has lots more traction than I do so far. I am so happy to have shared this idea with more than 200 viewers. Thanks to all the amazing judges and Georgetown Entrepreneurship! Visit kitstoheart.org to learn how you can show your support.
The Georgetown Entrepreneurship Challenge is the school’s largest annual pitch competition series. Think Shark Tank for students.
My idea for a social enterprise called Kits to Heart won the preliminaries last week, which means I will be competing in the finals today at 5 p.m. EST. Twelve undergraduate and graduate teams will have their five-minute pre-recorded pitch videos play in front of a panel of judges.
If you’re interested in seeing what I’ve been up to and how I plan to support fellow cancer patients, please register to receive a Zoom link to watch the event with me! I invite anyone to come show their support.
While the top prize is $10k, there will also be an audience choice winner for $2,500—so I would greatly appreciate your vote to get this venture off the ground. For more details on Kits to Heart (and to donate), please visit kitstoheart.org.
No matter what happens, I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity! Cancer patients need our help.
