Enjoying that rocking chair life at Boston Logan Airport before my flight back home to Maryland

Day 353: Return

Among the many things that I should be excited about on this month-long break is time to read. I’ve had to put a pause on reading Evan Osnos’ book, Age of Ambition. And my wonderful roommate gifted me another book on China (L-O-L) so I mean, how can I NOT be excited to read?

Noticed how beautiful this particular part of BU’s South Campus was. Final photo at BU for 2014!

We went to a new Indian restaurant down the street, and boy, was it disappointing. The décor, like many Yelp reviewers pointed out, is superior. The food? Bland and terribly presented. Literally cafeteria food-like presentation. Mine was among the decently presented ones. I really wanted to like this place—because Indian food. Curry. Spiciness. Unfortunately, we didn’t get that, and I decided it’s not worth a return.

Navrattan Curry: A disappointingly bland dish. Avoid.

This tiny slice of flourless chocolate cake was one of the few redeeming things about this restaurant.
